Stefani Wong

Stefani grew up in Florida riding horses and playing sports. After a serious knee injury, she started focusing on another passion—design. After graduating from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Stefani began working in the residential construction industry at Case Design & Remodeling in Bethesda, MD, as a Project Designer. Later she joined BOWA, a design and remodeling company located in Tysons Corner, VA,

where she worked in Sales and collaborated with Architectural design teams. After briefly serving as the Vice President of a corporate travel company, Stefani returned to BOWA where she was Marketing Coordinator and later a Senior Project Coordinator. Stefani coordinated multiple design teams, developed construction budgets, worked closely with material suppliers and subcontractors, and wrote project specifications for multi-million-dollar projects throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area.

In her spare time, Stefani continued her passion for helping people reach their dreams as a high school basketball and softball coach and as an elite travel softball coach. During her time as a coach, she helped many young women achieve their dream of going to college and playing collegiate athletics. Stefani says that “Some of the proudest moments of my life were watching my ‘kids’ achieve their dreams.” When not working or coaching, she enjoyed playing basketball, softball, and golf.

Since retiring and moving to Arizona in 2016, she enjoys playing golf and traveling with her husband. She has also rediscovered her love of horses and spends a lot of her time volunteering at Silver Lining Riding, where she joined the Equine Pit Crew in 2019 and now serves on the Board of Directors and multiple committees. She says, “I found like-minded individuals who love helping others through the power and kindness of horses.”
