Special Olympics Equestrian Team
For any rider who qualifies to participate in Special Olympics athletics. All riders compete in different competitions with their horse. In order to join Silver Lining's Special Olympics Team, riders must complete an 8-week riding session first.
$380 for 1-hour long sessions for 8-weeks
How to Start?
Call 520-329-7757 or email, firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an initial Orientation meeting with your family and the Silver Lining Team.
All new riders start with an Orientation and Evaluation. This is a half hour one-on-one session with an instructor. Upon arriving at the Orientation, riders will learn how to groom and tack their horse (if they can) with trained volunteers, while the instructor sits down with parent/guardian to determine goals for rider. Then, rider gets a mini riding lesson to learn basics of horseback riding and to determine if private or group sessions are appropriate for rider.
