Becky has been a long-time advocate of the healing and benefits of healthy recreation. That led her to pursuing a bachelor's degree in Recreation Management with a minor in Sociology. Since graduating, she always hoped to have the opportunity to help people heal through recreation and connection. That opportunity came when she found Silver Lining Riding. 

Becky started volunteering her time at Silver Lining in 2022. She quickly fell in love with the program. Watching students light up and gain confidence as they interacted with equines has been a highlight for Becky. While volunteering, she learned firsthand the healing power of equine connection. As a result, something planned on doing in her free time quickly became her passion. She is now a Therapeutic Ride Instructor in Training.

Becky is currently pursuing her PATH International certification. She works closely with other instructors to develop her skills. She loves interacting with her students and the volunteers at the barn. When she isn’t at the barn, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, back packing, and spending time with friends.
