Silver Lining Riding is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Peoria, Arizona, dedicated to helping individuals overcome life’s obstacles through equine-assisted activities and adaptive riding programs.
Our lessons and programs are open to children and adults of all abilities—including those with physical, cognitive, emotional, or social challenges—as well as veterans, first responders, and individuals seeking personal growth.

Volunteers are the heart of Silver Lining Riding! Anyone age 14 and older can get involved by registering through our Volunteer Portal. Those ages 14–15 may volunteer with a parent or guardian, while individuals 16 and older may volunteer independently.
No horse experience is required, our Level 1 and Level-Up trainings will teach you everything you need to know. Volunteers help with lessons, horse care, events, and ranch maintenance, making a lasting impact on our riders and horses alike.

Silver Lining Riding is an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO #20899), which means Arizona taxpayers can receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit—up to $421 for individuals or $841 for couples filing jointly—making it easy to give and get it back on your state taxes.

Silver Lining Riding accepts cash, checks, debit and credit cards, ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account) funds, and donations made through our secure online portal.
At this time, we do not accept insurance as a form of payment, since adaptive riding is considered a recreational and educational program rather than a medical treatment.
For families needing financial assistance, the Dawn Brown Memorial Scholarship offers partial support for lesson fees when funds are available.
