Silver Lining Riding is a 501(c)3 nonprofit in Peoria, Arizona, dedicated to empowering children, teens, adults, veterans and first responders of all abilities through horses. Our adaptive riding and equine-assisted programs create opportunities for growth, confidence, and healing, whether that happens on the back of a horse, through groundwork, or within the supportive community that surrounds them. With every lesson, volunteer, and act of generosity, Silver Lining is where hope takes shape and every ability shines.
Why Horses?
Horses are powerful partners in growth and healing. Their movement builds strength and balance, their presence calms anxiety, and their intuition helps people connect in ways words often can’t.
For a child learning confidence, a veteran seeking purpose, or a family looking for hope, horses meet each person exactly where they are. They don’t judge ability, appearance, or circumstance , they respond to heart and effort.
At Silver Lining Riding, horses aren’t just animals we work with , they are teachers, healers, and teammates who help every rider and participant discover their own silver lining.
